Whether you are planning a sit down dinner for 25 or a festive event for 500, ThirstyBear is the ideal venue to entertain your guests. We have a number of different seating possibilities for your group, both private and semi-private.
Perfect for cocktail and buffet-style receptions. The room features a full bar, one pool table, two dartboards and informal seating at tall cocktail tables. The Billar room can comfortably accommodate up to 80 people for a reception style event, or can be combined with the Salon Room for groups of 100-200 people. (semi-private)
An intimate space ideal for cocktail receptions, special dinners and business meetings. The room can accommodate 40 people for a seated meal or up to 60 guests for a standing reception. There is a rustic brick wall and a pool table to enhance the experience. (private, but not soundproof)
A spacious room with a combination of regular tables with chairs and tall cocktail tables with bar stools, This room features a pool table and can accommodate up to 60 guests for a reception style event or up to 40 guests for a seated meal. El Centro can be combined with the Vista Room for groups of 60-100 people. (semi-private)
Our most private room for smaller groups. With a large window overlooking the new SF Modern Art Museum on Howard Street, this room has its own bar and foosball table. It can accommodate up to 20 guests seated or 30 guests for a standing reception. (private)
All of our event spaces can be combined into a semi private space that can accommodate groups of 150-300 people. The entire restaurant can be exclusively reserved for your private event of 300 to 500 people. With a full facility buyout we can arrange for any decor, audio/visual or entertainment needs, including a band or DJ. Minimum food and beverage purchases vary depending on the day of the week. Room rental fees range from $100 to $500 depending on your guest count. If you have 25 guests or more, the room rental fee is waived. Minimums start at $30 per person for food, plus a beverage package. Food pricing will range from $30 - $60 depending on event needs. 20% service charge, 5% SF mandate surcharge and 8.75% sales tax are additional. Deposits are required in the month of December.
